Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Daighi Chicken Pulao Biryani πŸ˜‹:

  1. Marination And Yakhni
  2. 1 full chicken pieces
  3. 1/2 cup yogurt
  4. 1 tsp Ginger paste
  5. 1 tsp Garlic paste
  6. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 1 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  9. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  10. 1 tsp fennel seeds crushed (saunf)
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 1/2 cup oil
  13. Water as required
  14. Making Pulao
  15. 1 kg basmati rice 🍚
  16. 1 onion slices
  17. 1 cinnamon stick
  18. 1 mace piece (jawitri)
  19. 10-12 black pepper
  20. 2 black cardamom
  21. 5-6 cloves
  22. 1 piece nutmeg (jayfal)
  23. 1 star anise (badiyan Ka phool)

  1. Clean and wash the chicken. Take a bowl add chicken, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, all dry spices.
  2. Add lemon juice,saunf and mix well for 20 minutes.
  3. Take a pan add oil and marinated chicken and fry till light golden brown colour.
  4. Add water and cook for 15 minutes till chicken is tender.
  5. Take a wok add oil, onion slices and fry till light golden brown colour. Then add whole Garam Masala and stir fry.
  6. Then add ginger garlic paste and chicken pieces and fry till light golden brown colour.
  7. Add green chilli, yogurt, crushed zeera and stir fry.
  8. Add red chilli powder, salt and mix well then add yakhni.
  9. Soak the rice for 15 minutes. Now strain the water from rice and add the rice in the yakhni and cook on high flame.
  10. Once the water is almost dry, add tomato, lemon slices and chopped coriander leaves.
    Cover the pot with the lid covered in cloth and place it in dum on low flame for 15 minutes.
  11. Mix gently
