Instructions to make to make Handvo

  1. સૌપ્રથમ બધી જ દાળ તેમજ ચોખાને સારી રીતે ધોઈ પાંચ -છ કલાક પલાળી દો. ત્યાર બાદ તેમાંથી બધું પાણી નિતારી લો. હવે તેમાં જરૂરિયાત મુજબ દહીં ઉમેરો અને મિક્સર ની મદદથી પેસ્ટ બનાવો.
  2. ત્યારબાદ તેમાં અડધી દૂધીને ખમણી ને ઉમેરો. તેમાં મીઠું,હળદર,મરચાની ભૂકી,ખાંડ બધું મિક્સ કરી અને બેટર ને સારી રીતે હલાવો. હવે તેમાં ઈનો ફ્રુટ સોડા 1 tbsp ઉમેરો ત્યારબાદ તેમાં ૧ ટેબલસ્પૂન તેલ ઉમેરો. બધું જ સારી રીતે મિક્સ કરો.
  3. હવે એક પેનમાં થોડું તેલ મૂકી ગરમ થવા દો. ત્યારબાદ તેમાં રાઈ, જીરુ,તલ તથા લીમડાનાં પાન ઉમેરી વઘાર કરો. તૈયાર કરેલા બેટર ને ધીમે ધીમે રેડો. ચમચીની મદદથી તેને સપાટ પાથરી દો. હવે ધીમી આંચ ઉપર પાંચ મિનિટ સુધી ઢાંકણ ઢાંકીને થવા દો. પાંચ મિનિટ બાદ તેને બીજી બાજુ ફેરવી અને વધુ પાંચ મિનિટ માટે થવા દો. તૈયાર છે તમારો ગરમાગરમ હાંડવો તેને ખજૂરની ચટણી અને લીલી ચટણી સાથે સર્વ કરો.
