- 1 coal
- 1 bowl wheat flour dough
Instructions to make to make Veg biryani
- Boil rice with little bit of salt & whole spices potli.
- When 3/4done strain it & keep the potli out.
- Take a pan fry the onion until golden brown and keep aside.
- Make fine paste of garlic and ginger.
- Fry ginger garlic paste then shallow fry all veggies.
- Add salt and garam masala powder cook 30 seconds.
- Add hung curd & cook in high flame & stir fast continuously.
- Keep out half veggies mixture.
- Mix yellow food colour in 1 part of cook rice.
- Layer rice on veggies next layer of veggies again spread of rice on the top spread colour rice.
- Cover &seal (with wheat flour dough)the lid for 5-7mnts in summer flame.
- After a few minutes break the seal & open the lid
- Burn coal put it in bowl arrange in biryani pan pour 1/4tsp ghee & cover the lid for few seconds.
- Open the lid Smoky flavour spread in biryani.
- Sprinkle fried onion Julienne serve with raita & papad.
